In this tutorial we learn how to install Python 3.8 on MacOS X
- Download Python 3.8
Download Latest version of Python 3.8 from https://www.python.org/downloads/.
At the time of this writing the latest version of Python 3.8 is 3.8.3.
- Open Python .pkg installer
Start the installation by clicking Continue.
- Step 2 – Important information for Python 3.8 release
This step contain information regarding OpenSSL package that shipped with Python 3.8 so we need to download our own trust store. Click Continue for now.
- History and License
This step contain the history of Python and license agreement. Click Continue.
- Read The license and click Agree
- Installation Location
In this step we can choose where do we want to Install Python 3.8. We can choose the default and click Install.
- Input Your Password
Input your password since Python 3.8 installer for MacOS X need to do privileges escalation to install Python 3.8.
- Installer preparing the installation
- Installation Finished. Click Close.
